Welcome to the official website of the St. Petersburg (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. We are a not-for-profit organization of women who are committed to promoting the ideals of friendship and service. We are a group of women dedicated to continuing the legacy of our Founders who were committed to providing meaningful, purposeful and transformational community service. The Links, Incorporated is an international organization that was founded in 1946 and today has a membership of over 14,000 women in 285 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. Members of this organization are influential, proactive and progressive decision makers and leaders who annually have contributed over 500,000 hours of documented community service.The Links Foundation, Incorporated, the philanthropic arm of The Links, Incorporated, has distributed more than $25 million in charitable contributions since its founding in 1979. The St. Petersburg (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated was chartered in 1987. Our Chapter currently has a membership of twenty-three (23) Active members and fourteen (14) Alumna members. The programmatic thrusts of The Links, Incorporated revolves around five Facets: Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services and, Health and Human Services. Our Programs
Health and Human Services

The Links, Incorporated established the Health and Human Services facet in response to the chronic health disparities that persist in our communities and result in the decreased life expectancy of African-Americans. St. Petersburg Chapter of The Links continues to implement transformational programs that are responsive to the academic, health, cultural, social awareness, career development, and mentoring needs of youth.

International Trends and Services

The Links, Incorporated has a mission through its Global Trilogy of International Trends and Services, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), and the Signature Program, “Education Across the Miles” to expand the global platform for programs designed and developed to service the educational, health and cultural needs of people of African descent throughout the world. National Trends and Services

The Links, Incorporated focuses on eliminating disparities to reduce barriers to services through leadership, education, and service. The mission of this facet is to empower the membership to effectively empower the various communities served.

The Arts

The Links, Incorporated has a strong and rich record of support for the performing and visual arts, especially where it focused on the presentation of artists of color.

Rosebud Leadership Academy

In partnership with Academy Prep School, we have implemented a robust mentoring leadership academy designed to nurture girls’ self-confidence and builds self-esteem. The goal of the Rosebud Leadership Academy is to foster strong leadership qualities and self confidence that empower young girls to take control of their lives and develop as strong community leaders. We serve as mentors and meet with our students on a monthly basis.

Services to Youth

The Services to Youth facet uses an integrated approach to prepare young people to succeed as healthy citizens in the global workforce and to promote healthy lifestyles within families and communities.

St. Petersburg Chapter of The Links continues to implement transformational programs that are responsive to the academic, health, cultural, social awareness, career development, and mentoring needs of youth.
