I am Vonda Jackson Colquitt, President of The St. Petersburg Chapter of The Links,
Incorporated and on behalf of our chapter, I welcome you. The St. Petersburg Chapter has continuously served its community since its founding on June 27, 1987. We are extremely proud of our many years of dedicated service.
The Links, Incorporated is an international not-for-profit organization. Highly recognized as one of the largest and oldest premier volunteer service organizations, The Links Incorporated consists of nearly 14,000 women of African descent in 281 Chapters. The organization is
dedicated to enhancing and sustaining the lives of African Americans and proving that black lives matter.
The St. Petersburg Chapter of The Links, Incorporated serve and improve the lives of our
community through the five National Facets of our organization: The Arts, International Trends and Services, National Trends and Services, Services to Youth and Health and Human Services.
Each year we partner with Community Health Centers of Pinellas to sponsor the Links Health and Wellness Walk in conjunction with the African American Health Forum and we contribute generously to ASAP, Childs Park YMCA, and The Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum to name a few. Our major program is our Girls Mentoring Group
(Rosebuds) through our partnership with Academy Preparatory School.
It is our honor and a pleasure to share our organization with you as we continue to build upon the dynamic legacy of The Links, Incorporated. We invite you to join us in our
community activities and hope that you find our site informative. Linking hands with the
community and meeting the needs of the underserved is our focus. In Service,
